This section covers important account settings, including how to upgrade / downgrade, and how to deactivate your account.
Upgrading Your Account
From Standard Mode Lite to Standard Mode
To upgrade from Standard Mode Lite to Standard Mode, simply add a payment method. You can find step-by-step instructions in the Billing section.
From Standard Mode to Scale Mode
To upgrade to Scale Mode, go to the Billing section and locate the Subscription section. Select Scale Mode, then click Update. Your account will be upgraded immediately, giving you instant access to Scale Mode features.

Interested in HyperScale?
If you’re looking for a custom plan, our HyperScale option may be right for you. In the Subscription section, use the HyperScale cost estimator to calculate your expected RPC and RPS usage. Once you’ve completed the estimate, click Talk to Sales. A member of our Business Development team will contact you shortly to tailor a plan to your needs.
Downgrading Your Account
To downgrade your account, navigate to the Billing section and locate the Subscription section. Select the plan you’d like to downgrade to, then click Update.
If any Scale Mode features are still active on your account (such as ChainStream, additional users, etc.), you’ll need to disable them before continuing. Once that’s done, your account will be downgraded immediately, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
Deactivating an Account
To deactivate your Syndica account, go to the Organization section in the Manage panel. Under the Account Actions section, click "Deactivate your account". Confirm the action by typing "deactivate account". It's important to note that this will not delete your account information and can be undone anytime. However, it will revoke API access and stop any active containers, which may cause Syndica-dependent apps to stop functioning.
